Grayton Beer Company, the South Walton, Florida, craft brewery, announced today the partnership with A&B Distributing, Mitchell Distributing and Southern Beverage to open distribution throughout Mississippi.
The three Mississippi based distributors will foster the expansion of Grayton Beer Company’s classic, contemporary beers throughout the state.The first roll out will include four of the breweries Year-Round Series including 30A Beach Blonde Ale, Pale Ale, Fish Whistle IPA and Salt of the Gulf, a Leipzig-Style Gose.
The expansion into Mississippi follows the breweries success in other neighboring states including Georgia, Tennessee, and the progression in preexisting Alabama and Florida panhandle markets.
Our top seller, 30A Beach Blonde Ale now has its permit to make a presence on non-glass beaches. In its new 12 oz. can, Beach Permit Blonde Ale will be a top choice for beachgoers during this summer season.
Florida Beer Blog, said our new Beach Permit Blonde Ale cans are “easily the best packaging” they’ve seen in a while, and we agree! Our cans are set to hit the market May 19th, 2016 and we are so excited to see everyone’s reaction.
True to its Blonde style, Beach Permit Blonde Ale has citrus flavors and a mild malt sweetness that are perfectly balanced with smooth bitter undertones, resulting in a light-bodied, refreshing ale that will remind remind you of the Northwest Florida Coast.

After a long and arduous wait, Redneck Rye-viera has finished brewing, and we have released it in all its smooth and spicy glory!
Let us tell you just how special this red rye double IPA is. First, we get our hops shipped directly from Michigan to our home in Santa Rosa Beach, Florida for brewing within 24 hours of harvest (talk about fresh!). The Redneck Rye-viera is crafted with Glacier and Nugget hops added to three different types of rye. This masterpiece first hit shelves and taps throughout the panhandle in winter 2014 and was an immediate fan favorite. What makes this seasonal ale unique is the fact that its hop profile is only achievable once per year!
As the season gets cooler and campfires become a regular weekend activity, you’ll want a Redneck Rye in your hands. The robust malt and hints of spice create a truly unique drinking experience, and with an ABV of 8.1 percent, it’s sure to keep you cozy on a cool winter’s night.
The Redneck Rye-viera is part of our Artist Series, which means not only do a portion of sales from this beer go to art-based initiatives in the Panhandle, but the label shows off fabulous artwork from one of our favorite local artists Allison Wickey. Allison used the local landscape of trees, white sand beaches and blue waters as inspiration for the Redneck Rye-viera label.

Our Franklin County Oyster Stout recently got its 15 minutes of fame in Good Grit Magazine’s November-December ‘Beholden’ issue, which is out now.
The issue’s ‘Wish You Were Beer’ feature highlighted our oyster stout alongside a barely wine from Blue Pants Brewery, a pumpkin porter from Redhook Brewery and a ginger IPA collaboration beer from Terrapin Beer Company and Cigar City Brewing.

We’re excited to once again to be the official beer sponsor for the Seaside School Half Marathon & 5K, a highly anticipated event that we have been fortunate enough to sponsor for the last four years! Race weekend 2016 will take place Feb. 26-28, with exciting activities all weekend long including the annual “Taste of the Race” with Chef Emeril Lagasse, which we are also sponsoring!
Grayton Beer staff will be posted up at the finish line with free beer for all the racers of legal drinking age! We know the first thing people want after a 13.1-mile run is a frothy cold one! Race supporters and spectators will also be able to purchase Grayton beer from the various shops and restaurants throughout Seaside as well as the taproom, which will be open during race weekend! Our hours are Thursday and Friday 4 – 8 p.m. and Saturdays noon – 6 p.m.
