About Grayton Beer
There is a sign when you arrive at Grayton Beach that says, “Slow down, you’re here.” It does not take long to realize what “here” really is—unspoiled dunes bordering both the Gulf of Mexico and the patina waters of Western Lake. As an avid outdoorsman, I have spent a lot of time around Grayton Beach. I have fished on both sides of those dunes and kayaked through the waterways that connect the two bodies of water. I have watched countless sunsets sitting on the tailgate of my truck and sparked quite a few bonfires at dusk. I knew I loved this area on my first trip to the beach, but I have grown to truly appreciate the natural beauty that this little stretch of beach has to offer.
Grayton Beach’s unofficial slogan is “Nice dogs, strange people.” This eclectic attitude and the magnetic energy of the locals was a strong influence on me and the brewery when we started down this road. That influence is reflected in our name, our packaging, and our attitude. So slow down, take in the views, and enjoy a Grayton Beer.
